These terms govern use of boatbrosatx.com and charters booked with Boat Bros ATX. By using the site or booking a trip, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not book or use the site.
Who we are
Boat Bros ATX operates captained boat charters on Lake Austin from 5019 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746. Contact info@boatbrosatx.com or (512) 957-6197.
The website
Content is for information and booking. We may change hours, boats, prices, or experiences. Photos are representative. Availability shown online can change until payment is completed.
Bookings and payment
- A booking is confirmed when we accept payment (or a marketplace platform confirms the reservation).
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes and fees may apply as shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe or by the marketplace you booked through (Boatsetter, Getmyboat, Viator).
- We do not rent boats without a captain.
Cancellation and weather
Cancellation rules for a trip are the policy shown at checkout or in your confirmation (and any waiver). Unsafe weather or lake conditions may require us to reschedule or cancel. We will work with you on a new time or a refund according to that booking’s policy.
Guest responsibilities
- Arrive on time at the meeting point in your confirmation.
- Follow the captain’s instructions and all safety rules.
- Bring a valid ID if we ask for it. Party size must match what you booked.
- No glass, illegal drugs, or unsafe behavior. The captain may end a trip early for safety.
- Guests may need to sign a waiver before boarding.
Marketplace bookings
If you book through Boatsetter, Getmyboat, Viator, or similar, that platform’s terms and guest policies also apply. We import those reservations into our calendar so we can run the trip.
Liability
Boating involves risk. To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, Boat Bros ATX is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or a charter, except where the law does not allow that limit. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for injury we cause by gross negligence where the law forbids a waiver.
Intellectual property
Site text, photos, logos, and design belong to Boat Bros ATX or our licensors. Do not copy them for commercial use without written permission.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. New bookings after that date use the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
